For Immediate Release Health District reiterates exposure information LAS VEGAS – The Southern Nevada Health District is reiterating the unsafe injection procedures identified as the likely source of the potential exposure of more than 39,000 patients of the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada to hepatitis C involved the reuse of syringes on one patient combined with the use of single dose vials of anesthesia medication on multiple patients. The Southern Nevada Health District is responsible for receiving reports of illness and related investigations.
